At last, The Mandalorian and Grogu It’s finally here. Leaving the popular program and the first star wars movie In almost a decade, it has been impossible to escape. Would it be a sign that Dave Filoni’s show recent promotion to direct Lucasfilm Was this not a fluke, or would it be so bad that it would put the rest of the franchise in even more chaos?
The answer to that question is in the eye of the beholder. Most critics aren’t crazy about this movie, but audiences seem to accept it more kindly, or at least those who just want to hang out with two of their favorite guys on the big screen. For them, the simple fact that this movie exists and has supposedly fun action is enough, especially when it brings in some old animated movie blood like Rotta the Hutt and Zeb. But others won’t be able to get over that, or their speculation that this movie could have simply been in the show it’s based on and wouldn’t change much.
On the other hand, perhaps The Mandalorian and Grogu was always meant to be divisive in some way. After all, star wars fans are infamous not relaxand Din Djarin and Grogu are two of the biggest lightning rods of that schism. There is simply no way around both the franchise’s biggest baggage and the individual luggage of The Mandalorian show, hence much of the conversation about how non-existent Din and Grogu are as characters and whether at least one of them has outlived its narrative usefulness. The Mandalorian and Grogu It’s just an easy outlet for people to vent, including us; We’d like to know what you thought of this, spoilers and all, in the comments below.
