Enabot manufactures a wide variety of wheeled robots. All of them are designed to be home security cameras that can be operated remotely and accompany people and pets at home.
Prices for Enabot’s EBO robots range from as low as $120 to a whopping $1,000. Of the dozens of models offered by the brand, my favorite remains the most expensive of all: the EBO X.

Enabot set the bar too high with the EBO

It’s been three years since the EBO X debuted at CES 2023. Enabot leaned heavily on the guardian robot tag with the EBO The $1,000 EBO X has a lot in common with other Enabot robots. They all come with docking stations, wheels, cameras, speakers, microphones, night vision, and remote control support.
But the EBO X stands proud, head held high, shining bright and distinctive. In addition to all the advantages of the usual Enabot robots such as the EBO Air or the EBO ROLA Mini, the robot packs a punch with best-in-class specs. Features like fall detection and crying recognition are very useful and unique.

With the EBO X, you get brilliant Harmon Kardon speakers that can be used simply as Bluetooth Speakers once you choose that mode. The combination of high-quality speakers and microphones means that two-way communications are also of higher quality.
And because Enabot decided to equip the EBO I use the EBO X robot almost every day when I’m out and about. When my cat hides in a tight corner, I can easily zoom in or pan the camera up or down to find him.
There is no turning back once you have tried the deluxe version of EBO robots

Navigation is incredibly smooth thanks to hardware and software optimization, and has only gotten better over time. The EBO X features real-time GPS tracking with a quadruple positioning system, simultaneous visual location and mapping technology (V-SLAM).

You can adjust a ton of settings and preferences in the app, including remote control settings. Even the RGB lights on the robot’s “eyes” can be customized through the mobile app, or you can simply touch the sides of the robot to change the colors.
Once you’ve connected your Alexa account to the robot, it will become an Alexa speaker on wheels.
Perhaps my favorite aspect of the Enabot EBO X smart home robot is the native Alexa compatibility. Once you have connected your Alexa account to the robot, it will become a alexa speaker on wheels. You can add Alexa skills that allow the robot to follow you when given the correct voice command. The comfort is unimaginable.
It’s the combination of Alexa compatibility, superior camera quality, and premium Harmon Kardon speakers that makes it so difficult for me to go back to an inferior EBO Air or EBO Air 2.
If you ask me to recommend a smart security camera for your home, the Enabot EBO X is hands down my top recommendation.
As long as you can afford it, choose this multifunctional smart home robot without reservation. It will accompany your pets, monitor your family members, monitor your home, act as an Alexa speaker that can follow you, and help you communicate with people or pets at home while you’re away.
The EBO X robot even alerts you of fall alerts and when it detects crying babies. It’s an incredibly useful sentinel to have around your home, one that’s easily the best Enabot has ever created.

The cutest robot for your home
Enabot aimed high with the EBO X smart home security robot. The sky is the limit on what this companion robot can do. Once you get used to the high-quality service and features that the EBO X offers, it is very difficult to go back to the lower-spec Enabot robots.
