Google has officially confirmed that it is launching “the next generation of Pixel devices” It is expected to be the Pixel 11 series, coming out on August 12 at 6:00 pm ET in New York. Surprisingly, there haven’t been many leaks about the lineup so far. Sure, we’ve seen renders and some smaller leaks here and there, but not a lot of concrete information. Well, that was the case until now.
A new leak of Android Authority has revealed pretty much everything about the Pixel 11 series, including pricing, storage options, specs, and more in the US.
According to the publication, the Pixel 11 series will once again consist of four models: the basic Pixel 11, the Pixel 11 Pro, the Pixel 11 Pro XL, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. The listings were accidentally posted by Google on Amazon, although the company has since removed them.
In the official listing, you can see the new colors of the Pixel phones, as well as the suggested prices. It looks like the Pixel 11 series will now start at $899 for the base variant with 256GB of storage. It looks like there won’t be a 128GB model this year, which means Google will increase the base storage to 256GB, although the starting price will also increase by $100.
According to the listing, the Pixel 11 will be available in four colors: Frost, Pistachio, Hibiscus, and Obsidian. There may also be a 512GB variant priced at $1,019 (via droid life). Other specs on the base Pixel 11 include a 6.3-inch OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, a sub-5,000mAh battery, and a 13MP front camera.
Moving on to the Pixel 11 Pro, it also looks like it will increase by $100. That means the Pixel 11 Pro will start at $1,099 for the base 256GB variant in the US. The 512GB variant may cost around $1,219, while the 1TB variant will cost $1,449.
Like the base Pixel 11, the Pixel 11 Pro is expected to come with a 6.3-inch display and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The battery will be slightly smaller than the base variant at 4,850mAh, although it will reportedly offer up to 120x digital zoom.
However, according to another report, Google also seems to be affected by the memory crisis this year. The base 256GB model will reportedly come with just 12GB of RAM, while the higher 512GB and 1TB storage variants will retain 16GB. That’s a change from last year, where all Pixel 10 Pro variants came with 16GB of RAM across the board.
Moving on to the Pixel 11 Pro XL, pricing will start at $1,299 for the base 256GB variant, while the 512GB and 1TB variants will cost $1,419 and $1,649, respectively. Like the Pixel 11 Pro, there is also a RAM split here, with the base variant offering 12GB and the higher storage variants offering 16GB.
In terms of specifications, the Pixel 11 Pro XL is expected to feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a slightly smaller 5,115mAh battery than last year. There’s also support for Wi-Fi 6E (no Wi-Fi 7 yet) along with Bluetooth 6.0.
Finally, the Pixel 11 Pro fold It looks like the price will increase this year, as with all the other foldables out there. The 256GB variant will reportedly cost $1,899, while the 512GB variant will cost $2,019.
The Pixel 11 Pro Fold specifications include a 6.5-inch OLED clamshell display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4,750mAh battery, and folded dimensions of 6.11 x 5.92 x 0.4 inches. One thing worth noting is that the battery is getting smaller compared to last year. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold featured a 5,000 mAh battery, while the Pixel 11 Pro Fold drops slightly to 4,750 mAh.
