These Bambu Lab and Prime Day 3D Printing Deals Are Perfect for Beginners

Prime Day is packed with discounts across categories, but manufacturer hobbies especially benefit from discounts and deals. 3D printing is experiencing a number of fantastic sales across all categories, from the printers themselves to filaments, tools, and more. Here are the best Prime Day 3D printing deals I’ve found so far.

Bambu Lab offers great discounts on its entire line of printers

I’m a big fan of Bambu Lab when it comes to 3D printers. If someone asks me what is the best 3D printer to buy, I usually say Bambu Lab.

That’s not because I get paid to say that, or because I make a lot of money for saying it, but I really believe it. In fact, Bambu Lab has never sent me a single 3D printer to review as of this writing.

The thing is, Bambu Lab makes some really amazing printers, easy-to-use software, and the company has created one of the largest online 3D printing communities out there. That’s what makes this Prime Day the perfect time to purchase one of their printers.

Right now you can purchase the iconic Bambu Lab P1S Combo for $499, which is a $100 price drop from their normal rate. The P1S Combo comes with an AMS, or automatic material system, which means it can automatically switch between four filaments while printing.

The P1S is probably one of the best 3D printers in this price range if you want automation, print quality, and reliability. I have a P1S that has almost 3500 hours of print time and still works perfectly. However, the P1S isn’t the only Bambu Lab 3D printer on sale right now.

You can’t go wrong with any of Bambu Lab’s printers.

Although other manufacturers still make solid 3D printers for beginners and professionals alike.

If you’re thinking you need the latest and greatest from Bambu to get started with 3D printing, you’re wrong. My first Bambu Lab printer was the A1 mini and I loved it.

In fact, the only The reason I upgraded to the P series printers is because I got a great deal on my P1S and my P2S was a Christmas present so I no longer needed the smaller A1 mini.

Really, anything from the Bambu Lab line will be a fantastic option for your 3D printing adventures. The A1 series is ideal for those looking for an open frame printer, and the P series is a solid step up with additional features such as a better camera, a closed structure for printing with high-temperature filaments, and more.

There are also Bambu’s newer printers, such as the A2L and X2D, but they are not for sale at this time. Therefore, I will stick to looking at the sale printers listed above as they will give you fantastic print quality without having to spend a lot of money.

The Bambu Labs P1S 3D printer is ready to use and can start printing within 15 minutes. It features up to 16-color printing with the AMS unit, has a built-in camera for remote monitoring and time-lapses, and has a closed body for printing even with high-temperature filaments.

If you’re not a fan of Bambu Lab, that’s okay, as there are plenty of other 3D printers on sale for Prime Day. Here are some of my other favorite printer deals available right now:

Prime Day is not only a great time to get discounted 3D printers, but also a great time to pick up some tools, filaments, and more. You can never have enough filament on hand, so these are some of my favorite filament deals I’ve seen so far.

There are deals everywhere for 3D printers, even in areas you might not think of. Of course, the filament is for sale, as are the build plates. However, one of the most important things I would buy if I started 3D printing is a mini cordless electric screwdriver set.

Whether you’re building a 3D printer or maintaining it, there are too many screws that need to be removed and reinserted to do everything by hand. I love having a mini electric screwdriver on hand for that, and now is a good time to pick one up.

3D printing is the hobby that never ends

I’ve been 3D printing for years and I love it as much as the day I started, if not more. With 3D printing, there is always something new to do. Whether it’s a new tool for the home or shop, an organizational item, or just a fun toy or collectible for kids, there’s no shortage of models to find online for free.

If you’ve been putting off your 3D printing hobby because you’ve been waiting for prices to drop, this is one of the best times of year to save. So what are you waiting for? Buy your first (or 100th) 3D printer today!
