Ubisoft has quietly included Ghost Recon: Wildlands Definitive Edition in the games station Store, xbox Store and PC storefronts, priced at $99.99, according to Game Rant.
The listings appeared on July 6, 2026 and include the base game along with the Season Pass, Year 2 Pass, Narco Road, Fallen Ghosts, Quick Start Pack, Deluxe Pack, and two new DLC packs, Nightfall Protocol and Cold Eye, which are scheduled to be available in the game in August.
Ubisoft has not made any formal announcement about the Definitive Edition. Store listings suggest it’s a PS4 version that can be played on PS5 via backwards compatibility, rather than a native PS5 version.

Unconfirmed 4K/60 update and last rites mission
Game Rant reports that Reddit users have seen promotional images in the Xbox Game Center advertising 4K resolution, 60 FPS gameplay, and a story mission called Last Rites, all listed for release in early August. Previous changes to the PlayStation Store listing suggested the possibility of a native PS5 version.
Ubisoft has not confirmed any of these details. The current PlayStation Store page still lists Ghost Recon: Wildlands Definitive Edition as a PS4 game that can be played on PS5 via backwards compatibility, and there is no mention of a Last Rites mission.
According to Game Rant, the Definitive Edition and the two August packs are authentic, but recent statements from Ubisoft have not officially confirmed a new story expansion or dedicated updates for current-gen consoles.
No clear upgrade path yet for existing wildland owners
Ubisoft has not clarified whether players who already own Ghost Recon: Wildlands or its previous expansion packs will receive a free or discounted upgrade to the Definitive Edition.
