Upcoming Beats headphones introduced by Lamine Yamal: new design, pink color

Last week, reports emerged Around Apple is developing a new pair of Beats over-ear headphones, and the FCC leaked a schematic of the headphones, model number A3577. Now, facing the world cup, Lamine Yamal has just openly shown the new Beats headphones in an Instagram postprobably a successor to Beats Studio Pro.

Beats has had a long history of teasing upcoming products through celebrities, and this is no different. That said, I’d say it’s a little more substantial than usual, as these headphones look substantially different than their predecessors.

The current Beats Studio Pro released in 2023 and, for the most part, looked quite similar to the previous Beats Studio 3 from 2019. USB-C, Spatial Audio, and improved ear pads were introduced, but they largely shared the same design language.

These new Beats headphones, potentially the Beats Studio Pro 2, look very different. The headband looks a bit like AirPods maximumwith a thinner stem that connects to the earcups and widens towards the top of the head. The cups also protrude from the ear pads, rather than having a flush design.

It also comes in pink. The most recent Beats Solo 4 They come in pink, although the existing one Beats Studio Pro No.

Wrap

It’s unclear when these new Beats headphones will be released, but they’re likely coming out very soon as they’re already being teased this way.

A major disadvantage of the current Beats Studio Pro is that they stopped using the Apple H1 chip and instead used custom Beats silicon. This makes them better on Android, although the experience on iOS is worse than previous Beats headphones and AirPods. Beats has changed course with some of its newest headphones, like Adjusting the powerbeats and Powerbeats Pro 2so we may see the same thing here.

Do you like the design of these next Beats? Are you in the market for over-ear headphones? Let us know in the comments.
